About us
Aix-Marseille Université (AMU) is the largest multidisciplinary university in the French-speaking world, with 80,000 students and nearly 8,000 staff on 5 major campuses meeting international standards. Owner of 90% of its property, the university is present in 9 cities, in 4 departments of the South of France. Its A*Midex University Foundation, which supports the ongoing IDEX, is helping to develop a world-class interdisciplinary higher education and research cluster. Known as a "research-intensive university", it is home to 122 research structures linked to major national research organizations.
AMU brings strong expertise in theory of cultural transfer and sociology of cultural fields to the NARDIV project. Prof. Dr. Nicole Colin and Associate Professor Catherine Teissier whose combined knowledge in cultural transfer, minority relations, and artistic praxis is foundational to the project’s goals. Their experience with international academic initiatives and Erasmus+ projects inform a productive mix of field research and textual analysis, particularly in WP2, WP5, and WP7. This partnership ensures professional coordination across research and artistic components, contributing significantly to NARDIV’s methodological framework and international impact.
