UvA Universditeit van Amsterdam
About us
The University of Amsterdam (UvA) is a public research university located in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Established in 1632 by municipal authorities, it is the fourth-oldest academic institution in the Netherlands still in operation.
The UvA team contributes a strong foundation in European studies, life writing, and cultural diplomacy to NARDIV. Marleen Rensen, Associate Professor of Eruopean Studies, leads WP2 and provides critical insights into developing a new master’s program in Cultural Diplomacy (WP7). Anna Seidl enriches WP2 with her expertise in cultural and literary studies, while Christian Noack’s expertise in East European studies and research on Russian soft power adds depth to NARDIV’s understanding of Eastern European cultural dynamics and political discourses.
