UWR Uniwersytet wroclawski
About us
UWr is build on the historical heritage of Silesia and the legacy of Austrian, Prussian, Czech and Polish culture, continuing also the traditions of the Polish universities in Lviv and Vilnius. UWr holds the title of Research University as the only university in Lower Silesia and one of ten in Poland.
UWr strengthens the NARDIV project in cultural diplomacy, led by Professor B. Ociepka, an expert in international relations and head of UWr’s Public Diplomacy Lab. Ociepka’s extensive research experience, with around 150 publications and participation in major EU initiatives like the COST A30 project and the 6th Framework Program, provides a deep understanding of European diplomacy, cultural exchange, and the role of public diplomacy in fostering intercultural dialogue.
